As any soccer mom or dad knows, the sport has been steadily growing in popularity in recent years, especially among young people! Kids will love a comic about one of their favorite sports, and parents will relate to the comic’s ever-supportive band of carpooling, game-attending, ref-scoffing parents. Join this group of pals, parents and coaches in their favorite game: soccer!
Cleats also follows the gang’s adventures in other sports. Playing tennis, baseball, golf, gymnastics, skateboarding and more, the kids and their parents laugh their way through games and practices.

I can’t believe people actually comment on comics!

Dave, it’s not about the comics. It’s a means of communication, and people need to communicate. Even if it’s only thoughts about a comic. Take a look at the comments for the Pibgorn comics. A complete virtual community has formed there. Is it any less valid than chatting over a fence as you hang out the laundry?

I can’t believe believe people actually comment on comics to say that they can’t believe that people actually comment on comics. Talk about irony.

Dave, I felt the same way when Gocomics first put in the comment section.
Then I started reading the comments.
Then I started commenting.
Now I’m hooked.
This is a great community of people.
(For the most part)

i, too, got hooked on the comments after finding this site to read a few of the strips i couldn’t find on another site. now i only read a few strips on that site, like Peanuts, that i don’t see on this one. and i come back to read more comments after the first go round.

I like the comments for the feedback. I appreciate everything you folks have to say.
I just got back from a 4th of July celebration where my 13-year-old son’s band, Distorshun, performed. They rocked.
