Pinheads Extremely Traumatized by Animals. BTW! These folks are NOT “liberals”, just nuts. I love the fact their knowledge of science, or lack thereof, is only challenged by climate change deniers.

PETA is about as needed as the ACLU

Wait until you need the ACLU, Howie. (Actually, I hope you never will, but…) But who needs PETA? Fer shure, they don’t understand biology.

And their secret wing, the Animal Liberation Front, is an out-and-out terrorist organization.

Motive, much as they drive me nuts, I don’t thing PETA really supports ALF, at least not to the degree we see in the back peddlers in the “anti-choice” movements.

You are correct fennec–I hope I never need the ACLU as they are really useless–they run close to committing “hate crimes” as the latter can be loosely interpreted.

It’s funny how quickly the left puts all the radical gun toting hate groups in with the right, but distance themselves completely from PETA, ALF, ELF, militant Greenpeace …

    I smell double standard.

Can one of you Right-wingers explain to me why conservatives are so keen to nominate judges that will follow, interpret, and enforce the Constitution strictly, word-for-word, yet get so upset when the ACLU does exactly that?

dtroutma - actually, yes, there is real reason to believe that the radical wing of PETA supports the ALF. They keep it very quiet, but there have been hints here and there that the leadership of PETA knows about it and supports it – including using similar language on occasion.

nomad and HOWGOZIT - go away. This has nothing to do with the ACLU, which supports even your right to speak your mind, which is more than the Bushies would do.
