    Perhaps if people would care to know what’s going on instead of assuming the worst, you’d know that the Queen actually REQUESTED an iPod.

    You’d also know that besides the right wing nuts who cry foul in pite of the fact that we had a mealy-mouthed imbecile screwing things up for the last eight years, no one else CARES about this kind of crap. Read the British papers instead of watching Fox News. They actually thought it was cool.

    Also, as posted elsewhere and previously, it was a great gift, customized to the Queen with pictures and videos from her past visits to America, set to Rodgers & Hammerstein music (which she loves). It was accompanying a rare Richard Rodgers songbook signed by Rodgers. So there.

    The Queen does not run Britain, is not required to pay taxes,and she does not use their National Health System. Yet she gets bailout every year from the British Tax-payers, at least the few who haven’t fled the crushing taxes. So why did the Great Impostor give her an IPod?     BTW - The G-20 was a total disaster for the U.S. All The Great Impostor managed to do was agree to let EUROPE run OUR economy. Thanks to the constitution the real power to make international agreements is in the Senate. Hopefully saner heads will intervene there!

    If you’re so upset about the US economy being run by a foreign power, why didn’t you protest when Bush cut taxes to the wealthy? Every time we do that we end up borrowing from abroad to make up the difference. In the 80’s, Japan owned us, and now it’s China.

    And DON’T give that usual neo-con BS about how you were against Bush doing that. That’s what the neo-cons say NOW, but when I used to point out early in Bush’s term that he was putting us in hock to Beijing, the response I got from you guys was, “So what? We just won’t pay it back. What can they do to us?”
