That guy in the last panel looks very Republican

I think he kind of looks like Harry Reid or, if fatter, Ted Kennedy prattling on about global warming or trying to convince us that another trillion dollar of debt would be a good thing.

Logic and evidence are no match for emotional appeals or repeated sound-bites.

The guy in the last panel is Bill O’Reilly of Fox News fame. “Pinhead” is a signature insult for anyone who doesn’t share his point of view. Also note the crawl on the bottom of the screen, a Fox innovation now widely and ridiculously copied.

He might sound like Bill O’Reilly, but that’s Chuck Schumer for sure.

I don’t get it. If Australophithecines are extinct, how can there be one in Congress? Why not make a comic about Homo erectus–there are at least five in the House and one in the Senate, and any comic strip with the word “erectus” is automatically funny.

That idiot in the last panel looks like Joe Scarborough, and he didn’t get his Starbucks today.

Ok, the guy in the last panel is Bill O’Reilly, but Ruben Bolling is not very good at caricatures!

sacha8uk: Ruben Bolling would be the first to admit his limitations as a caricaturist, as he did in this post (worth revisiting):

I was just saying that you could be a very good cartoonist while sucking at copying a real person’s aspect!
