Gosh I hope Pab sticks around - this weeks series of cartoon strips are hilarious! Reminds me when I first saw Star Wars (May 1979) showing in a movie theater - big screen (little screens don’t have the same viseral effects).
There was a scene where we (wii) get to see the big planet destroyer coming into view - looked like a big logo for AT&T (before deregulation of the telecom industry - allowing for competition among them and the newer com companies). I can still “hear” the gasp/oooo’s/laughs coming from the audience.

Wow - EMET! I hope you spent months locked away working on that. Keep ‘em coming - That way we don’t have to worry about a whacko like you roaming the streets and doing any real harm.

@et2008
clearly EMET is celebrating his independence HIS way.
not my cup of coffee, and not completely relevant to the strips he’s posted on, but all different instead of just repeating himself ad nauseum. i admire the creativity and effort involved. A.

Evidently EMET is not fully observing Shabbat - not suppose to be using modern conveniences like computers & electricity - hummmm.

Although I’m not Jewish, I learned about “Traditions” being the designated driver on Friday after sunset for a friend who grew up in an Orthodox family. Learned alot from listening to her stories.

GJ Jehosaphat - trying to get some donkey lefties out of the ditch - I would be considered ’ messianic’. That donkey out of the ditch move was OK’d by ……. well, his name is left open for debate.
No more poems - it’s a once a year thing! I’m using my freedom while its still available.

EMET - That’s ok by “ME” - I was wondering if you were feeling alright - but then I remembered watching the Red Green Show with one of my brothers - amazing things one can do with duck (duct) tape.
Canadians have their own special kind of humor - COMBINE (mixing together as well as a harvest machine) that along with farming (my family’s livelihood) which gives folks way toooo much time to think while driving around in circles - working the fields from planting season to harvest. AND then there’s winter….thank G_D for hockey!
We always had a good humor when city cousins would come to the family farm & tried their hand at milking cows - Good Times!

Late post here so no one will read:
@ET 2008:
Be careful who you call a nut case -As a matter of fact, you are the nut case because you obviously have more balls than I do. (Ahem…) by calling me names and hurling accusations.
The real nut cases and whackos are the ones in DC who sign legistlation without reading or understanding - if I make my protest in a very peaceful way on Independence day, using poetry as an avenue to MAYBE get you to think, that makes ME a whacko? I guess I do prefer to stay off the streets with my protests like the nut cases of Hamas tossing bombs with the same carelessness you toss insults. I don’t call names, I try to use logic, add some humor when possible, and have alway tried to sway even the most rude posters in a kind manner.
Look in your own mirror for the problem with humanity. There are things in life that we need to be serious about.
