    it might get to freezing in the Austin/San Antonio area. usually it waits to december.

    Maybe the turkey has gone south for the winter. Almost 100 in parts of Australia today.

    I usually use aluminum foil to make a tent for my turkey.

    It browns better that way, and stays moist.
