    A slug is a shell-less mollusk.

Most snails are double-gendered, aka hermaphrodites; but, some fresh-water snails are either male or female.

So, Clumsy Carp and Thor are on the bank of a creek or river if two male snails are watching a female snail strip.

The fish in the movie “Finding Nemo” was a clownfish, a species where they are born male first. A clownfish only changes to female when there is no longer a female in the group to reproduce.

Yesterday’s actual strip had B.C. at “Peter’s Supplies” (rock) telling Peter, “I’d like to find some underground water.”

In panel 2, Peter holds up a thick tree branch with a fork on it.

In the last panel, B.C. says, “So I can dig a well.” He looks like Peter didn’t understand what he meant.

A person who was an expert at water witching or dowsing for water would have preferred to use a flexible branch of a tree and probably one from an peach tree.

Dowsing for water seems like an old-wives tale; but, my paternal grandfather was gifted at doing that and if a person dug a well exactly where he said to do it, they got water.

I am not going by hearsay; I saw him do that more than once and I saw that he was right, too.

Snails gone wild” is much better call-back to the parade of father-issues and low self-esteem being referenced.

I hope Clumsy doesn’t go wild and create a whole line of videos on the subject.

Oh, “mollusks”? I though you said “bacon.”

The mollusk is a randy little fellow whose primitive brain scarcely strays from the subject of the you-know-what.

@ JAD: “A clownfish only changes to female when there is no longer a female in the group to reproduce.”

So how do they decide who gets to change into the better gender??
