   I’ve always thought of the goal posts as the portals of Venus. You’ve accomplished something when you pass through them and you celebrate after you have scored.

   I thought it was more an outlet for men’s inner child. I have yet to meet a little boy who wouldn’t LOVE to dress up in armor and smash into things. The better you are at crashing around, the more points you get - it’s Heaven to a 9-year-old.

   You can find symbolism anywhere if you look hard enough. What you see will be based on your background, your life experiences and beliefs. But this is a cartoon for entertainment and some social/political comment; let’s not get hung up and take things to seriously.
