Pulitzer Prize editorial cartoonist Signe Wilkinson spread her wings and created Family Tree, allowing her to write and draw outside the left/right, headline-driven box of daily editorial cartooning. A contemporary family comic strip, it chronicles the humorous challenges that Ames, Maggie, Twig and Teddy encounter when trying to live "green" and with environmental purpose.

When we moved to ARC Landmark MHP They had the bus stop right outside our house, now even the little ones have to walk about 1/2 mile to catch the bus.

Signe, as you know, I’m from the Philadelphia area, and I’m an alum of Upper Moreland H.S. in Willow Grove (Class of 1982).
One year, when there was a bridge reconstruction project on Davisville Rd., the Upper Moreland School District actually scheduled one bus stop near the bridge to pick up students at 5:55 AM!
Even in June, that’s the very crack of dawn. It’s pitch-black at that time throughout most of the year in Philly.
