Pulitzer Prize editorial cartoonist Signe Wilkinson spread her wings and created Family Tree, allowing her to write and draw outside the left/right, headline-driven box of daily editorial cartooning. A contemporary family comic strip, it chronicles the humorous challenges that Ames, Maggie, Twig and Teddy encounter when trying to live "green" and with environmental purpose.

So true! If you want your loved ones to be able to see your medical records or talk with your medical providers, it takes a legal form. If you don’t mind them making decisions for you when you aren’t able, give them a health care power-of-attorney.

At least some doctors are now including a form with their pile of “new patient” forms, where you can list the people they are allowed to talk with regarding your health.
