But I like him!
I seem to be drawn to Minnesota, for some reason I know their politicians (?)
Ok, I have a couple of friends in Brainerd. One loves him, the other detests him.
And Minnesota had another senator who was great, Paul Wellstone. Just the governor dude was odd, the Ventura guy. Even Arnie seems sane next to him. (But was he a good governor?)
At any rate, I enjoyed the other contender, Norm Coleman, get his comeuppance in his interrogation at the hands of another wanker, British MP George Galloway Coleman was just a nasty piece of work during the W years.
Yeah, power to Franken, I hope he outfoxes his opponents. ;-)
George did do a splendid job on little Norm, did he not ? Alas, over 1 million Iraqis had to die because people like Norman Bertram Coleman, George Walker Bush, Richard Bruce Cheney and their ilk felt compelled to play statesman….
If an image is worth a thousand words, no one says it more eloquently than Kerry Waghorn. Drawn (no pun intended) from the headlines, Waghorn creates illustrations from national news, international news and the entertainment/sports world.

AUGH!
AHHHH!
THE CHINS! THE HORRIBLE CHINS!
But seriously, Minnesota seems to love electing the most ridiculous people possible.

Agreed ,Toaster. :/
I guess Minnesotans cynically decided that the Senate was just a total joke anyway, sooo….

He doesn’t seem any worse than many other Senators, true. If the people of Minnesota are ok with him representing them, more power to them.

Just shows the wingnut posters here are into two dimensional caricatures rather than the substance of a person. Must be all that Faux News.

Comedy is far harder to write, and requires a lot higher intelligence than tragedy- Bush/Cheney is proof.

At least Franken is funny on purpose, unlike Michele Bachmann. Not to mention apparently sane.
