Alex, that was a very interesting video. The men in my family have been Masons for a very long time. All of the men for several generations back were Masons, and my mother, aunts and grandmothers were either Job’s Daughters or Rainbow Girls and all were Eastern Star. My dad, especially, was deeply involved – a patron of the Demolay for more than 50 years, 33rd degree, Scottish & York Rite shrines, patron of Eastern Star and the two girls groups. He was even a Knight Templar for the last few years of his life. Unfortunately, neither my brothers nor I were ever exposed to any of it, consequently none of us ever joined any part of it. I regret that greatly, considering how much joy and satisfaction it gave our Dad.
Arye, thank you again for the Chanukah information. Happy Chanukah!
Low 50’s this morning with an intermittant drizzle. It made the walk today very interesting. We stuck to the paved paths today and avoided the muddy graveled ones.
Off to the post office today to mail a few things. I think I will take my book with me.
Good morning, Vagabonds.
