Good morning,, Villagers. I started a new book on Saturday: Shike (I don’t know if it’s pronounced to rhyme with “like” or “sheek-ee”") by Shea. Unfortinately, it has a sequel and I don’t possess the sequel. Taking the sequel out of the the library (if the library has it) is a no-no form because I now read so slowly it would be overdue before I get through it.

But it is an exciting book and I’m only up to page 50

    Good Morning, Vagabonds,

I, too am an avid reader! I love to sit down, put the ole feet up, have my flagon of coffee next to me, and hunker down and get into a good mystery. I have so many books that I haven’t read yet. Love my book sales! Unfortunately, I only read about 2 books a week.

@Montana Lady that is a very nice sunny avatar, ML

I do like flowers. When I worked landscaping, one of my favorite jobs was planting the flowers ( already grown) for customers.
Even more fun, though, was growing my own flowers in my garden.

Benitin y Eneas: Jeff welcomes the new neighbor and thinks she is a senorita – but is turns out she is a senora and her husband is a luchador known as Strangler Grunch (panel #10 above). The English strip says wrestler instead of luchador.
