   Mark Trail – I don’t think the bear is going to bother the girls. The bear is more concerned now with the matter of survival, not attacking humans who are no threat to him.
   Phantom – Phantom is going to make an unprovoked attack on the balloonist? Why?
   Judge Parker – Ross is beginning to get as suspicious as the rest of us.

   JUDGE PARKER: I am increasingly curious as to whether Neddy ever met Ross. All I can recall is that Ned commented that Thalia’s husband was “very handsome”; but that comment could have come from looking at a photograph.
   FUNKY W: Is Lenny bio-dad’s professional or personal partner (or both)? Show?? Are Frank & Lenny planning some sort of reality show?
   MARK TRAIL: Today’s strip is barely believable.

   Judge Parker – It’s good that Sam is asking “lawyerly” questions, but Neddie doesn’t like it. As an artist, she is more intuitive than fact-based.
   Mark Trail – Why don’t they all get in the water? I thought that was why they headed for the lake. I’m disappointed that once again the women have to be saved by the men, even though one man is injured.
   Funky W – I believe they’re planning to undercut “Lisa’s Story” by filming their own version, but I think they’re showing their hand too soon. Darrin will have none of it.
   A3G – Is Margo still wearing the emerald ring? All that took place while Lu Ann was gone for Christmas, but I don’t know why Margo is so secretive about it and expressing it so rudely.
   Crankshaft – Even the “angel on her shoulder” things it would be fun to spray him with the hose.
   Phantom – Wouldn’t it be dangerous to bring down a baloon with an arrow? It’s operated by gas which could explode and if there is a person on it, they could be badly injured or killed.

   Phantom:
   @marvee: The arrows would only make small holes in the balloon so that it would come down slowly. Also, if it is filled with Helium, that is an inert gas and won’t burn. The only other gas used is hot air.

   Mark Trail: This is getting as bad as Mary Worth.

   Mary Worth: This is getting as bad as Mark Trail.

   Rex Morgan: Why wasn’t this flaw discovered before? You would think that one of the many engineers on this project would have noticed this before.
