MARY WORTH: “Sounds like a plan”? Does Beth mean, “Sounds like a good plan”? Does it mean she lacks social graces?

REX MORGAN: More plots to complicate the story thread.

APT3G: Why should LuAnn’s using the Mills gallery cost Margo money? I had thought Margo had abonded the gallery to start the agency.

PHANTOM: We are not given a translation of what the drums are saying.
MARK TRAIL: It’s a bit preposterous to think that a free diver without goggles or fins will be able to catch and capture a SCUBA diver. Will C. try to hold M. underwater, ending up in a battle for the air hose?
JUDGE PARKER/REX MORGAN: Speaking of movies (JP), are we ever going to hear any more about Iris and “Chasing Mildred” (RM)?
MARY WORTH: Did Tom ask Beth to call? BTW, Tom appears to be eating breakfast at a diner (which may be to show us that he can’t cook).

PHANTOM: maybe the younger Llongo think the justice given to the two imprisoned men is going to far and they’re calling for his help to stop the punishment.

Mallard Fillmore – Be afraid. Be very afraid.
Phantom – I thought that story was finished.
Judge Parker – Stretching out the conversation one more day. Yawn.
Mark Trail – Still no bubbles visible on the surface?
Rex Morgan – Maybe we’re beginning a story arc about obesity.

Rex Morgan – Several irons in the fire – Milton’s probable heart attack, June’s probable pregnancy, and obesity. If we aren’t educated it won’t be their fault.
Phantom – Maybe the drums are good news.
Mary Worth – I think Tom called her – she was busy in the kitchen; she probably would find a more private place to make a call. “Sounds like a plan” is a fairly common expression. Depending on the tone of voice could mean “I like it” or I’m not enthusiastic.
A3G – I think Lu Ann’s plan would be good publicity for the gallery. As a publicist, Margo should see that.

    @Arye Uygur

Arye, I use the phrase “sounds like a plan” or “sounds like a plan to me” all the time to indicate agreement with a suggested outing or schedule. It’s just another way to say “yes, sounds good”.

Mary Worth – Mary makes a powerful chicken soup. Not only is Tom healthy, his appearance is entirely different (hair color, rounder face) as is his attitude – not keeping to himself, not moping about his divorce, etc.

Phantom: Maybe the drums are saying “Thanks a lot for your help.”

Mark Trail: What is Mark going to do when he comes up to the surface? He is in the boondocks with no boat or transportation with two men who have been cheating. They won’t want to let him go to spill the beans unless he made a deal with the tournament committee to follow them.
