APT3G: I hope this romance lasts and leads to a marriage, but that would break up the three-some of 3G. Margo’s last real love died in the Himalayas and LuAnn broke her engagement.
REX MORGAN: Ditto my comment from yesterday.
SALLY FORTH: It is so unfair for a 63 year old man to father a child: If it’s a boy, what happens when he’s 10 and asks his 74 year old father to play baseball?
MARY WORTH: It may be possible that the mother is annoyed at her daughter for not getting involved in a romance.

PHANTOM: Maybe Hero and Devil will both be coming to P’s rescue…
JUDGE PARKER: Nice panel 1 (artwork). If Neddy and Mark were together in high school, they must be about the same ago. I started reading this strip two years ago (early 2011), and don’t seem to remember Mark.
CRANKSHAFT: I’m still reading the “Save the Tree” story.
MARK TRAIL: Time to call the cops! A poster at jsonline says that if the tank in the van is being used to keep large bass alive, they would need a noisy aerator pumping large volumes of air thru the H20. ??
MARY WORTH: I’m going to go out on a limb and predict that before this story is over, Beth will under go a makeover that will make her more attractive (perhaps a new hairdo and new glasses or contact lenses).

Crankshaft – I don’t think that would work. The leverage is wrong.

TARZAN: Are we about to get a WW II history lesson?

@Florchi
there is a WW2 veteran who comments @ Tarzan and often shares historical facts and personal stories from the war

Crankshaft – I went back to reread the tree story to be reminded that they weren’t concerned about the tree blocking the road but rather “saving” the tree. I didn’t think fallen tree of this size could be saved and David is right that trying to upright it this way is not possible.

MARK TRAIL: Florchi shares a good point. these fish wouldn’t survive for long in a small tank without H2O
JUDGE PARKER: in today’s vintage JP, Sam drops in on the Judge while wearing a tux and the judge answers the door in a smoking jacket and tie.
MARY WORTH: I have an idea who Beth may be introduced to after he’s recovered from his illness thanks in part to Mary’s soup
PHANTOM: she has to get hungry at some point

REX, JP, and A3G are in a lull right now, and we can predict MARY WORTH.
PHANTOM – Heading for a climax of one kind or other.
MARK TRAIL – Mark is figuring it out, now get help for Rusty.
MANDRAKE – Jockamo can appear at the right time in the right place.

@marvee
MANDRAKE – Jockamo can appear at the right time in the right place, with the wrong intentions.

JP It doesn’t surprise me, Florchi, that you wouldn’t have seen Mark yet if you’ve only been reading for two years. At the glacial pace this strip moves, two years covers only a few months. If Ned & Mark were high school sweethearts and he is just now graduating law school, we’re talking about 5 or 6 years strip time and more than 10 real time.

REX- @ Delores- never say never
3G- Time to get back to LuAnn & Tommie
MW- I asked Tues. if Beth is employed- I guess she’s a writer
of romance novels, one anyways…………………………….
JP- Corey has that look in panel#2 about Neddy’s remark
“maybe my only love” -(Mark)
