APT3G: Running home after learning that there was a fire there may not be logical, but it’s what I would want to do in order to see for myself and get closure.
MARY WORTH: Please, John and Mary, don’t slip on the remnants of the other contestants’ cake. Everyone here has suggested they use a wagon: WHY DIDN’T THEY?
REX MORGAN: If Delores is so intuitive that she just knew June was pregnant, why isn’t she intuitive in other ways?

FUNKY W: In yesterday’s strip, Ann says, “Oh, Kerry…I’m so glad you came!” Ann’s comment suggests a level of familiarity with Fred’s daughter-from-the-past, but yet Darin was never told he had a step-sister. I don’t get it. Ann’s comments while at the hospital seemed to indicate a less than ideal marriage…was Fred too wounded by whatever happened with Kerry’s mother to be able have a happy marriage with Ann? This has been an unhappy storyline from the get-go.
MARK TRAIL: I like the artwork (panel 2).
MARY WORTH: Does that really happen (people dropping their cakes at the competitions)?

MARY WORTH: carrying the cake must be part of the contest rules. I don’t like it. In competitive golf, they have rules about walking and carrying clubs rather than using a golfcart, this is similar.

Very little progress to comment on today. I’m glad Mary Worth didn’t keep us guessing any longer. I agree with Florchi about the Funky story. I can see suppressing an early unhappy marriage, but when there’s a child, there should have been contact, including with Darin.
