APT3G: Most NY apartment doors are made of metal. That axe cannot break the metal door. At best the door may be unhinged. In addition, an open door can cause a fire to spread.

REX MORGAN: If Delores was behind June and now no longer is, I hope she didn’t go back to her room to use the 2nd gun.

MARY WORTH: Follow Teh’s suggestion and use a wheeled wagon, for Pete’s sake!

Phantom: I wonder what P is going to do to stop them?

Mary Worth: How heavy is that cake anyway? My wife and daughters have made cakes and they were not so heavy that yuo needed to be a weight lifter to move them.

Mart Trail: What an ego he has. I love myself, who do you love.

Mary Worth – I don’t think a tower of teetering cake tins is a very good way to practice. Maybe there’s a DVD to teach them a better way.
Rex – This is set up for an exciting Sunday strip
A3G – We’ll have to wait till Monday for any action in this strip. In addition to an alcohol induced deep sleep, Margo might be overcome with smoke by now. How will Greg get to her when the flames are at the door and being fed by more oxygen?
Judge – Why doesn’t Abby handle the family finances? Instead, everything is sent to the office with no back-up plan for when Sam is away.

MARY WORTH: From what I’ve seen so far, it seems to me that the cakes in the contest will be judged by how the icing is used to decorate the cake and not by the ingredients used or how the cake tastes or by how it is shaped.

REX MORGAN: I fear the worst: Delores has snuck back to her room and…

PRINCE VALIANT: I don’t know why Sir Prefers-Tea-Plants- Food-Crops flunkies obey him rather than just deserting. What’s in it for them?

SUNDAY PHANTOM: So…the bones P. found in the sunken India Voyager belonged to the Rhodean Admirals’ guy that Savarna shot before he got her. If she shot in self-defense, why does she say, “Oops!”? I hope someone will comment on this, as I am baffled.
JUDGE PARKER: Alan (JP) probably needs to keep a USB backup copy of the script in his pocket – just in case the ship sinks or something. Sending the latest draft to himself via encrypted email it would be even better. With Randy & April’s upcoming wedding, the planned cruise to Acapulco, April’s dying ex-pat dad, Alan’s script, and the mystery of why Neddy is spending so much money in Paris, this strip sure has a lot going on right now.
REX MORGAN: June & Rex are all smiles and kidding around, but they don’t know that there was a second gun in the Delores’ room…June is probably heading toward trouble.

Phantom – I don’t understand why she say, “Oops” either.
    Rex Morgan – I share Arye’s concern.
    Mark Trail – Interesting.
Judge Parker – Talk about your Sunday recaps.
Prince Valiant – @Arye, they support the guy who writes their pay checks.

MARY WORTH: Would anyone care to elaborate on the meaning of the Galway quote (panel 1)?

    Phantom:
@Florchi: I too don’t understand why Savarna said “Oops” and why are the two of them illuminated also. I don’t know the significance of that display, if any?

Rex – Ditto comments by Arye, Florchi, and David
Judge Parker – Yes, it’s a recap by Sam and Abby updating each other on what they know, not the lazy cut-and-paste style employed on some of the other strips we read.
Prince Valiant – Next week: Outflanked. It certainly looks like our guys are now, but does this foretell a change of fortune?

    @Florchi
James Galway is a very talented flutist. I have several of his recordings. To me it sounded like a paraphrase of my old band director: “practice, practice, practice”. (I dabble at playing flute myself.)

Phantom: Kit does not approve of killing, and Savarna knows that. At least that’s my theory.
