REX MORGAN: We also know a good doctor, at least in this strip.
MARY WORTH: Don’t bother making the cake – the icing will do.
APT3G: Nice to see Margo in good humor for once.

PHANTOM (Questions): Has this story had just one lioness or multiple lions? Assuming that the miners are the ones who inserting the “electric fence” module into the lioness, why did they want to restrict her hunting territory – was it to make her turn to humans for food and force the village to relocate? If so, what would be the benefit to the miners of getting rid of the village? This has been an interesting story…but at this point I have a lot of questions!

Mark Trail – Yup. Saw that coming.
Phantom – No. She’s not free. She has been conditioned to avoid certain areas and will still avoid them.
Mandrake – A hologram is only an image created by light. It has no substance, and therefore is incapable of causing any harm

@Florchi
I don’t think the question of one lioness or several has been answered. And for your other question, I can guess that the miners want the land that the village sits on. Just a guess.

Phantom
I have also questioned the logic in this story line. Reinforcing the villagers superstitions and fears would only harden them against the mining operations and their young queen. It’s still Christmas Day in this strip.Judge Parker – Writing a script is much different than writing a novel. How can they be so sure Alan can do it.
A3G
Mark Trail – Will the old man be the hero?
Mandrake – I agree with David. The “stuck record” was annoying, but she’s doing no harm just standing there.

Phantom I agree with David. She’s been conditioned, but that’s probably not how the story will play out.
Rex Rex and June are very cute today.
JP Sam has seemed to be very confident that Alan can do the script, even a few weeks ago when he pitched the idea to Avery. Maybe he’s done it before???

Phantom: She may have been conditioned but she never stopped of her own accord. There always has been the shock to remind her to stop because someone? wants her to attack the villagers. If it doesn’t exist, the next time she will keep pursuing her prey as hunger will overcome any conditioning without the shock. I don’t believe that she would harden the villagers to stay there but rather encourage them to move away. Then the miners would have free rein over the land, if they are the ones doing it. Did P put the device back into her, without the batteries, to see who will show up to find out why she didn’t stop?
Mark Trail: Maybe Andy will come to the rescue as usual as he has not had much of a part in this story.

MARY WORTH: Do you think if I don’t read “Mary Worth” for a month the cake-making contest will have been judged?
APT3G: Amazing! The last panel is not a revue but a peek into next week.
REX MORGAN: Are clams OK for a pregnant woman?
Florchi said, 5 months ago
REX MORGAN: @Arye: I’m not an expert in such matters, but I think cooked (fried) claims would be safe; the cautions are for live (raw) clams. I wonder if Honey is about to have an epiphany about what her lifestyle is costing her.
JUDGE PARKER: A change of plans….(are JP & Katherine going to go along to Mexico?).
FUNKY W.: A PineAPPLE computer?
MARK TRAIL: Amen.

Rex Morgan – Blondie, you don’t stand a chance!
Mark Trail – Thank you, Mark!
Phantom – I don’t think Phantom believes him.
Judge Parker – “A change of plans.” What a surprise.

A3G – What’s in the box? Will it reveal what Evan and Aunt Cathy have been up to?
JP – It looks like Randy and Katharine have reached some kind of agreement. Will April like it?
Rex – At the very least, Honey is learning what a real relationship looks like.
