   MANDRAKE: end of a poor storyline. anyone catch the extra consonant in yesterday’s 1st panel?!
   MARY WORTH: it was odd they chose the name “Merry” for his deceased sister. To avoid confusion, the spelling was changed from the common spelling used by the title character. But I have never seen the spelling “Merry.”

   A3G – Maybe Evan realizes that he’ll be found out with Greg and Skyler working together.
   Rex – Delores seems to be the most intelligent of the three girls, but the other two are good-hearted.
   Mandrake – The police chief seems to appreciate, even depend on, Mandrake and Lothar. Over at Dick Tracy, the story is about the dangers of costumed vigilantes. Is this a trend?
   Judge Parker – I’ve always thought of elopements as being completely secret, often because of parental diappoval. Neither factor applies here. They just want something simple without a lot of the hoopla. I still think it’s important to have family and close friends be a present for the vows “before God and these witnesses”.
   Mary Worth – I heard just recently of someone named “Merry” born on or very near Christmas.

   JP Question: will Katherine turn out to be the pushy controlling person the two judges have made her out to be in the last week or so or will she be the loving Mom who will go along with what Randy and April want because she loves them?
