MARY WORTH: Yesterday’s commenter was right about Jim thinking Dawn would reject him because he’s missing an arm. I never expected Jim to be so furious. Dawn’s cue should be: “Calm down, Jim. I heard your story, so please hear mine: I was devastated by the man I loved and was ready to give up on life. I’m just getting back to normal, thanks in part to the shipwreck i was in, so please try to understand me.”
REX MORGAN: All the characters are learning what we the readers already know.
APT3G: If Margo can’t move, did she intend to stay at 3J? There is never any insinuation of sex in these comics. Is it because they may be read by kids and must be self-censored?

MARY WORTH: Sometimes people who are “just” good friends become something more over time. But instead of showing patience and respect for Dawn’s feelings, Jim is acting like a bully.

One Big Happy – This is the only story that’s interesting today, to me at least.

I take it back. The Gasoline Alley crossover in Dick Tracy is very interesting.

Mary Worth – I like Arye’s response to Jim, but I don’t expect comic strip characters to be so rational.
@Jan, yesterday, you’re right. Jim couldn’t grab her by the wrist and hold a drink. Maybe he put his arm around her waist, drink and all. He certainly invaded her space and she looked alarmed.
A3G – I would have liked to have seen some conversation over dinner which might have established some common interests from which a relationship could develop. But apparently they just ate, and will now dance; Where will it go from there?
Most other strips are just str-e-t-ch-ing things out. Mandrake seems headed for a climax but it may take a while to get there.
