REX MORGAN: Why is June so shocked about hearing about parties that last to 1 in the morning? In my “party” days, my parties and the parties I went to lasted to about that time. A party that was over by 11 PM was deemed a dud. But of course, these parties were held on a Saturday night and I didn’t have to work the next day. Also alcohol was not emphasized and few people got too drunk.
MARY WORTH: Although I’m getting tired of Mary’s pontificating, I have to agree with her: No matter what bad things happen to you in this life, you have to lead a good and moral life, not because you will be rewarded, but because it’s the better thing to do. This applies to atheists, agnostics and Deists as well as people who believe they will either be rewarded or punished in the next life. Asking for forgiveness when on your death bed can NOT help the people one has already harmed.
APT3G: So Evan is a flattering opportunist and we have a clue to his thoughts and hope the girls of apt3G will eventually catch on. In the past, the readers of Apt3G only got hints that the guys were had deficiencies from their actions and not from the thought bubbles.

MARK TRAIL: Panel 2 is nice – something different. I wonder if Mark will be going to Belize or the Turks and Caicos (I don’t think the Bahamas are considered part of the Caribbean). Wherever he and Bill Ellis are headed, I hope we get to go along.
FUNKY W: Pregnant? (I think she’s only kidding)

Phantom: With Devil hurt P really needs to find out what is going on. This lion is really being controlled to scare the people into leaving.
Mary Worth: Instead of an advice column Mary is philosophizing. I guess it doesn’t matter to the editor.
Rex Morgan: Has June been living on another planet if she is shocked that the party may last until 1 or 2 am on a Sat. night? In the “olden days” our parties used to last until 3 to 5 in the morning.

Phantom – What kind of gun was he using?
Rex – June’s an “old, married lady”.
Judge Parker – Sam is looking grim.
Mark Trail – Flying South with the geese.
Funky – Les turns off-white.

Rex Morgan: I think June’s concern may be that she and Rex will be kept awake by a noisy party upstairs (perhaps right above their bedroom).

@Florchi
I’m with you on that one. When my next-door neighbors throw a pool party, I wear ear plugs when I go to bed.
