MARY WORTH: Sunday’s strip seems to be a review of the past week. Gandhi’s quote about being of service to others is apt: I remember arriving by air to another country. I couldn’t find my suitcase at the conveyer belt and was very tired and upset. An elderly lady asked me to take her suitcase from the conveyer belt and, tired as I was, I did it anyway. Behind her suitcase was mine!
REX MORGAN: I t seems June has faith in Rex that he will not be led astray.
APT3G: Greg (I finally got his name straight I always referred to him as “Brad”) isn’t jealous of Evan who greg compares to the office kid in the superman comics.

PHANTOM: Today’s strip – The First Phantom.
PRINCE VALIANT: I await next week’s “surprising decision.”
REX MORGAN: Honey is playing games: Panel 5 (while June is there) and Panel 7 (after June has left). After Rex is thoroughly soaked, will Honey offer to put his clothes in the dryer?
JUDGE PARKER: I’m afraid Bea is right (Panel 5). I hope Avery yells “HELP!” loud enough to be heard by Sam & Bea.
FUNKY W: That’s a real URL on the banner (Panel 1).

PHANTOM: if the history of the Phantom is recounted as it was recently in Tarzan, I shall follow with great interest!
PRINCE VALIANT: looks like they’ve gotten no further with trusting the two Camelot knights
JUDGE PARKER: what ever happens to Avery, he had it coming to him with this poor decision to confront Bubba over a camera.
Great weekend for me as the St Louis baseball Cardinals won the one-game playoff to advance to the National League division series!!

@Teh
Many years ago, when I was working in sales support, my high-tech company sent me to a fall regional meeting in St. Louis. I have two strong memories of that trip – 1) getting inside an F-16 simulator dome at McDonnell-Douglas, and 2) attending the sales meetings with everyone (myself included) wearing a Cardinals baseball cap.

Rex – June should stay. She could probably find the pliers, at least she’d know what they look like.
Judge Parker – Very ominous. Avery isn’t one of the major characters, but not disposable either.
Mary Worth – What will happen tomorrow?
