   Rex Morgan: Who belongs to this voice? I hope we don’t drag this out.

   Mary Worth: Is Dawn going to revert to a young age with a pillow as her security blanket and watch the same DVD over and over. She needs help if she is that unsecure.

   MARY WORTH: @Arye – It was interesting that you had ordered a DVD set of the fantasy series, “Game of Thrones,” from Amazon (yesterday’s comments). I was unaware of this TV show.
   FUNKY W.: The teacher’s comments about multiple universes in today’s strip reminded me of the Gwyneth Patrow film, Sliding Doors, and I just put the DVD on hold for pickup at the library – I’d like to watch it again.

   Mary Worth – Grandchildren watch Game of Thrones and read the book.
   Rex – I assumed it was mabel talking. Don’t know why Rex looks surprised; I thought he had said something similar.
   Mark Trail – I wonder how Mark will approach this suspect. Best not to accuse him right away.

   MORE REX MORGAN: Can anyone swear what was in the little unlabeled bottles Iris had? Is alcohol an ingredient in mouth spray? (It’s in Listerine, for example) Are we making assumptions / jumping to conclusions?

   Had my blood test. I’ll know the results in a week. Broke my fast with a bowl of oatmeal and a glass of chocolate milk.

   @DAVID, nice that your house is coming along. As for my NY apartment, my roommate’s brother has come to NY from Guyana and has helped me organize 2 cluttered closets, a job that was too overwhelming for me to do alone. Next the balcony. Meanwhile, I’m making a list of all my books and on what shelves they’re located and putting the info on an email I’m sending to myself.

   I fasted last night and this morning took a blood test; I’ll know the results in a week.

    Rex: I, too thought the “runs in the family” comment came from Mabel. Other than Rex, June & Iris there’s no one else in the room.

    Paul remains in critical condition in an icu burn unit. I used to bartend in a restaurant at the marina where he kept his boats. We instantly became friends and i was welcome to ride on his boat with him at anytime on the Mississippi river. He’d just fueled his boat and was trying to start it when the explosion occurred.

    Rex – I thought Mabel would recognize the tell-tale signs of drinking and attempt to cover-up. Yes, Listerene contains alcohol and some hard-core addicts will drink it. As for the little bottles, no one needs that much mouthwash for a few days trip.
