I’m back. I get used to going to bed early when we’re camping, and it’s hard to stay up late again, especially when I get up at 4:45 to ride my bike…

    Have a

Here is some Shel Silverstein to lighten your day and celebrate Italy’s Feast of St. John.

    Italian Food

Oh, how I love Italian food.
I eat it all the time,
Not just ’cause how good it tastes
But ’cause how good it rhymes.
    Minestrone, cannelloni,
    Macaroni, rigatoni,
    Spaghettini, scallopini,
    Escarole, braciole,
    Insalata, cremolata, manicotti,
    Marinara, carbonara,
    Shrimp francese, Bolognese,
    Ravioli, mostaccioli,
    Mozzarella, tagliatelle,
    Fried zucchini, rollatini,
    Fettuccine, green linguine,
    Tortellini, Tetrazzini,
Oops—I think I split my jeani.

    @Alexikakos

Having my maternal grandparents, and great aunts and uncles, cross over at Ellis Island from Italy, I really enjoyed that! :-D

Our friend Michel arrived last night from San Diego. He begins demolition work tomorrow. I didn’t have the heart to tell him that the *Locos*have demolition down to an imperfect, but destructive science. Fortunately, he leaves the place the way a new bathroom should look, unlike you all.

cleo, I RESENT THAT REMARK! We have done a wonderful job on your renovations over the years. The fact that we stole your secret stash of Bookers, should have NO implications on our wonderful work!

BTW, how’s your neighbor doing? I think we accidentally stumbled over his flower and vegetable garden in our zeal to help you with your renovations, our dear long time Friend! But, OH NEVER MIND, it may have been YOUR flower and vegetable garden we stumbled upon. We arrived late and it was hard to tell in the darkness of night! Sorry about that! You do forgive us, don’t you? rofl smileys photo: rofl rofl.gif rofl smileys photo: rofl rofl.gif

Blame it on JFri! He was the one who brought the rum and cokes!
