Recliners are great at stealing money too! I always find hubby’s change underneath it. Do I give it back to him? OF COURSE NOT!

Good Sunday morning Marg and JFri!
JFri, you said you were tired from your job. Of course you were, You actually had to work for a living! That’s what I was referring to. You just had to make me spell it out, didn’t you?

In my youth, I found enough money in the back of the booth that I was sitting in to buy my beer all evening long.

Baldo, no es justo. Ese era el dinero de Gracie convite. Usted tiene un trabajo.
¡Qué vergüenza!
Baldo, no fair. That was Gracie’s treat money. You have a job.
For shame!!

I had a wonderful weekend. Very busy, in a contemplative way, if that is possible. I have a lot to digest, literally and figuratively. We ate with the sisters in silence and went to three services a day. And we practiced anointing each other with oil. It wasn’t consecrated of course. We had fascinating speakings, including my academic advisor on systematic theology from my college.
I loved the quietness and I slept well both nights. There was a slider rocker in my room with a slider footrest. It put me to sleep. Then I’d roll out and into a comfortable bed with a comforter/quilt on top. Sigh. So peaceful and sleep inducing.
I’d go back anytime for a reatreat.

Anointing yourselves with oil, sounds like a food fight!

I spemt the afternoon moving and replanting cat mint and planting new plants, also plenty of weeding. Nice, warm day!

A wonderful dinner awaits us. Rich, decadent and tasty. Just how I like my women! :-)

Well, there certainly was a lot of food involved. Those sisters cook up a storm. I must have gained five pounds.
But the oil was in a tiny jar, with an oil-soaked cotton swab inside. No messes allowed.
We are being trained for a healing ministry.

cleo, why do you plant cat mint if you don’t want cats around, or am I remembering correctly? I though you didn’t like cats.
Decadent food? Rich and tasty? What is is? Sounds good.

Good evening all! A quick pop-in for me before I head to bed. It got very cold out here.
Cleo if you do want a cat, I’ve got one you can take. She’s loud and annoying though.
