Saturday strip! This is how the story will fit into the available time frame.
Late night dumpster diving. What better way to pass the time?

Saturdays! A harbinger of things to come post-November? Nah, probably not, but something to look forward to on the long weekends while it lasts…

Ed Deadeye consists of 36 strips. Aaron will be on hiatus for 6 weeks. He wouldn’t be able to finish the full story if he stayed with the 5 panel-a-week format.

I like how she thinks its a gag.
Sure……. you Asian kids do that all day running around throwing notes at random folks.
I bet TSOJ does that every weekend for loads of laughter.
And what lead. He rode a Taxi two blocks. Lazy jerk should have walked the two blocks. How big are those blocks in Hillside???
Nebu points out Duke’s eyes are somewhere. I like her Simpson eyes. Nothing but a dot…….and no eye lids. She is really wearing one STRONG prescription.
I do love the strip however. Its interesting to see the author’s development from then to now.

Well, I know a few neighborhoods in Houston, San Antonio and maybe even Austin I wouldn’t want to walk two blocks at midnight thirty. Sorry, I just haven’t been to the Metroplex for a while. Wait, Plano and Granbury(DeCordova Bend) have lots of animal mutilation, or they did. And those are nice areas in the daylight.

I know blocks in DC you would not want to walk down however the Cabs don’t even go there.
He was a magician he could just “POOFED” himself over there. Criss Angel could do it.
That area of the animal mutations was determined to be some city living coyotes that moved into the area looking for easy eats.
But still I get your point….but this is Hillside surely no BIG crimes happen there. (???)

You know, sometimes Aaron’s work reminds me of old radio programs back in the 30’s, 40’s, and 50’s. I believe if he had lived back then, he would have been a very successful writer for the Golden Age of Radio.

What or who would leave mutilated animals lying around?

Maybe she’s the eponymous “Ed Deadeye” and the glasses cover her unusual peepers. Otherwise I’m wondering when we’ll actually meet Ed.

Who is the artist here? The signiture might be Aaron? Is this some of his early stuff? Would I be considered mad, bad girl?
    Don’t care for it. Sorry.

“Deadeye” has a more prosaic meaning; a guy who’s a great shot with a gun.

Then again, in “Waiting for Godot,” Godot never shows up, either…oops! hope that doesn’t spoil it for you…
