And sadly, that attitude is all too prevalent in today’s society.

We know the pooch, it seems
    I can’t recall the scene
    For him, escapist dreams
    Allow him to be mean

    I do confess dismay
    At his poor attitude
He’s got no right to stay
    So casually rude

I think he’ll have some action
    In what’s unfolding next
    And he will find distraction
    But not like he expects…

What a visually beautiful variation to the storytelling. A long courtroom drama can run the risk of becoming monotonous – a lot of text, talking heads and static sets. Now, we have the absolute opposite, with dark tones, highlights, movement and a complete flip-over of emotion.
    Hats off.

The crowd knows, I think, that trying to fuss with him to get him turned around would inter fear with what is going on and they would miss it. Good thought. Let him go. Rectal opening.
    Blessed Be

He’d feel differently if he were on trial.

“Unfortunately, since the trial is a sham, it doesn’t really matter if people are invested in the outcome or not.”

Interesting. So, since the trial is guaranteed to result in everyone’s death, no one’s invested in the outcome? What other kind of investment do you have in mind?"

I understand his attitude completely. There are circles of concern, and circles of influence. Imagining that something is in your circle of concern, when it is outside your circle of influence is either masochism or mere voyeurism. Even if he’s wracked with concern over the course of the trial, what can he do? Will his rapt attention and ulcers affect the council? Not in the least. I agree with Doc Rat—great change of pace, showing crowd reaction, and turning the intensity of the participants upside-down.

Isn’t strange that some males in Endtown have the same hair style as Wallie? Hummmm…..

Take a deep breath, and repeat to yourself: This is only a comic strip. This is only a comic strip. If the cartoonist wants a character to be a smoker, that is his choice. Get a grip on your anti-smoking attitude and throttle it good, or at least smack it around good for having bad manners.

You haven’t spent a penny on Endtown up until now, why should I care what you do now?
