Struting proud. They really like being at “that” end of law.
Why do they all need guns, one or two would be just as powerful and less damage. That is one thing that the council needs to change. Cut back on the expence of extra bullets.
    Blessed Be

I imagine Walter as having a voice that sounds like Grey Grimwald from Electromatic Radio.

Rats and guns, rats and guns and tanks and guns and rats in .tanks with guns on trucks.
if you take the rats guns away the may cry and kick your knees.
Mayor not used to having 8 rats with guns. pointing at him he gets all flustered and rolls with it. talks himself up and he is hoping to make them think they are there for Him, not to eat him too. but next time he may need his fishing pole and hook up some rats and hang them on pegs and tie them up.

Nothing that Xavier can’t fix with some intoxicants chemistry. Here, rats, have some nice ethanol… and then disarm them.

Aaron I emailed you to ask about ordering a print but it didn’t go through. Guess I will try again later today.

Good for the mayor; he’s going ahead
And braving the rat’s nest’s dangers
Before the High Council, if he’s still not dead
    He might face more-hostile strangers

But Holly’s at risk, Linda, Maude are as well
Though the mayor’s new courage is spotty
The doc might have had an easier sell
If the person endangered was Dottie!

Rats: “How do we know you’re not really that cat in disguise back to attack us again? Take your clothes off and bend over.”

I wonder if he still thinks the trout lead is worth it.
I’m also wondering if any members of the high council are familiar to us readers.

Diplomacy is the art of saying ‘nice kitty’ while reaching for a bigger stick.

The rats don’t have tails. Everyone else with tails have them poking through their pants or skirts, so I think the rats probably have them removed so no one can grab them. Unless they’re bred without tails. One of the dirty secrets of Endtown could be that the rats, if they were ever human, are less so now and are acquiring the lifespans and breeding cycles of real rats. These rats may be less than six years old and may even have had several generations. And someone may be breeding them without tails.
