It's the End of Civilization as we know it. A mutagenic plague followed by a global war fought with disintegration weaponry has left much of the Earth a desert of fine powder and what remains of humanity fragmented into humans, animal-like mutants and bloodthirsty monstrosities with lots of teeth. The surface, still teeming with the mutagenic virus, has become the domain of the dreaded Topsiders; well-organized, technologically advanced, and heavily armed un-mutated humans sworn to exterminate mutations of any kind in order to clear the way for the eventual resurgence of a new, genetically clean humanity. Faced with annihilation, mutants and "impure" humans have retreated into the depths of the planet to form communities and hope to win, or at least survive, what may prove to be mankind's final war. Endtown is the continuing story of one of those communities.

So how do you reset the ship?

And the bell rings….ROUND TWO…
TS are still using rockets? Should be the age of the lazar .
More power and less mess. Saves the ship to examine later without having to prowl over junk.
And not messing up the bodies. Hmm? Might scare them a little to think or imagine that the mutants have such a ship.

Bill, I’m guessing that, when Aaron won the ship, the Lucranian loser reset it for him. Aaron had just not gotten around to making himself captain. Pity.

this is a real bad position for all of them on the ship unless Marx is outside the ship pulling it out of range, and I doubt he can do that.

Keep an eye on that eye that’s opening!

Have you tried turning it of and then on again?
Three Steps Over Japan said, 11 months ago
@Jenner
When you turn it back on, keep holding the little switch, on the bottom near the serial number plate, down with a paper clip for 5 seconds then let go when you see the “Welcome” banner appear.

For those of you that like free stuff for promoting Endtown, GoComics is having another contest. This one for Ziggy’s 41st anniversary. 3 winners get a free Ziggy book. Just leave a comment to the blog about why you like Ziggy. If you feel silly, sign your entry “Endtown Fan #” whatever. (I already own “Endtown Fan #1”.

“TS are still using rockets? Should be the age of the lazar .”
Lasers in general use light. The ship can bend and/or reflect light to disguise itself. So, laser weapons may not be the best choice in this scenario. Lazar weapons might be an intriguing alternative, though…

Wally works hard to save lives that would kill
Charter member of
Flask’s waking up, and she’s murderous still
Time’s running out for these tense situations
The ship needs “reset” like some Russian relations
And Marx, unconcerned, is still staying off-scene
Does he have things in hand? And just what would that mean?
The Topsiders are real, and those missiles are hot
But is the ship where we expect it? Or not?
The tech implied here is rather involved
Such radar disguise is not something we’ve solved
The dittos just clump in a camouflaged cavity
But here the ship’s hidden.
Well, all but its gravity.

“3 winners get a free Ziggy book”
Hmmm, not a huge incentive…

If the ship does have a personality, shouldn’t it want to change captains, if only for self-preservation? Pesky prime directives…
