It's the End of Civilization as we know it. A mutagenic plague followed by a global war fought with disintegration weaponry has left much of the Earth a desert of fine powder and what remains of humanity fragmented into humans, animal-like mutants and bloodthirsty monstrosities with lots of teeth. The surface, still teeming with the mutagenic virus, has become the domain of the dreaded Topsiders; well-organized, technologically advanced, and heavily armed un-mutated humans sworn to exterminate mutations of any kind in order to clear the way for the eventual resurgence of a new, genetically clean humanity. Faced with annihilation, mutants and "impure" humans have retreated into the depths of the planet to form communities and hope to win, or at least survive, what may prove to be mankind's final war. Endtown is the continuing story of one of those communities.

I’ll bet he doesn’t need a ‘clapper’ to turn the lights off either.

Well, we have a confrontation coming.

Which Flask will they find- the sullen, tearful conflicted kitty or the angry, vengeful gun toting cat?

Is Marx getting taller every day? It sure looks like it.
I’m glad he can understand what the ditto said. at least hope that’s the case. Those dittos could be fun to have around! Would n’t be nice if someone could be protecting the 3 little ones.

Hooray weekend, now I have even more to sit here waiting for. Fortunately enough, at least with Endtown, I know when the next update will be. Here’s to Mondays.

I found it interesting in the first panel that Marx stripped off the extra un-housebroken ditto’s before having his pet dittos lead the way.

I like their reactions to the SPLAT and the fact Marx doesn’t quite understand it.

From yesterday: “When will the books be ready to ship? I’ve been expecting them for weeks. Are they not done yet?”
You may want to follow the Jarlidium twitter feed (http://twitter.com/#!/jarlidium/). As of yesterday, they were still waiting for the books to arrive from the printers. The original tentative date for shipping was mid-June, but the point is to have them at Anthrocon, which is two weeks from now. Depending on the timing, individual pre-orders may ship before the convention, or may have to wait until after.

Wally is only just now starting to realize that asking questions doesn’t necessarily lead to understanding the answers. Maybe when all of this is over, he’ll start catching up to Marx’s level. If he watches Marx really closely, he may figure out how to make his own ditto invisibility shield. I really hope so, because I think it’s going to be funny watching him try…

Marx isn’t getting taller. It’s the ‘camera’ angle and the fact he’s walking closer than the others.

When he was back in Endtown, if Wally had decided NOT to accept this mission, think of all the fun he would have missed.
