    Nice turnabout.
    .
It used to be that humans were changed into changed shapes by the gods (e.g. Arachne by Athena). Now they are changed by science gone awry. Is there a moral message still? Somewhat different, but still there. It’s very shallow literature that doesn’t have at least some moral. Are super-heroes the demi-gods of modern times? Their inception and continuing stories modern versions of myths? Not a profound thought.

IN the series “Supernatural” are a species of horror called Arachne that are human -spiders, hard to kill and reproduce by infection. Only beheading will stop them. They are strong and fast and spin webs and feed on humans like spiders do to flies.
