There is a recent novel about a girl how has come back form the dead with new cravings. She still can think and she still works in a world that accepts them as long as they follow the law.

Lars would have gotten on well with my mother – she often served offal and insisted that I ate my lambs’ brains. It’s probably why I prefer vegetables to meat.
