Once upon a time there was a duplex where a young bachelor named Eno and his dog, Fang, shared an ultra-macho haven of beer snacks and male-bonding. Suddenly, their lives turned co-ed when Gina and her poodle, Mitzi, moved into the other half of their building... the question is, who will come out on top in Glenn McCoy’s, The Duplex?

A rather silly version thereof, TN Chuck.
(an old Scamp comic revealed that cat-food and dog-food are made in the same factory–and only put in differently-labelled tins; so Fang’s “dare” is meaningless. Of course, Eno falls way short anyway of “real man” ideals….)

Cat and dog food do have to have SOME differences though, as cats require taurine and dogs do not–and there are a few others too.

The difference between dog food and cat food is … This is a CARTOON, people! What does it matter if dog and cat food is made in the same factory and Fang’s “dare” is meaningless? It’s not a dare, by the way. It’s a confession. Eno whispered his secret love of quiche, so Fang shared a
“dirty” secret with him… nothing profound, but pretty funny, nonetheless. Why isn’t anybody analyzing how a dog can sit at a table, read a menu, and speak the human tongue? BECAUSE ITS A CARTOOOOOOOON.

Fizzy must be new to the comments on gocomics. That’s all it is…trivia, silliness, and discussions that can stray quite a way from the original cartoooooooon. Learn to embrace it.
By the way, I foster puppies and kittens for a local animal shelter and almost without exception the kittens prefer the puppy food and the puppies prefer the kitten food. Taurine or no taurine.

maybe eno should use some of the money from his carny job and get fang a big bag of cat food [or does fang prefer canned stuff?]
