There REAL money does not come from their dues paying members. it’s a lobby, with too many nuts crowded in to run it at the top.

Ever notice the NRA never brings up supporting anything as sensible, and dependable, as say , a Ruger M-77 bolt-action hunting rifle,it’s always the nut case weapons they defend?

The NRA is nothing more than Good Americans protecting their Constitutional Rights. Dem Libs have a long standing Agenda so important to them that they willing to subvert their creditability to progress that Agenda…….1. Create a Crisis 2. Pump it up. 3.Create a Demon to attack. 4. Bring out Kids to use as a Shield to insulate from push back. 5. Rub the stomach of the Lap Dog Press for support…..The Sad thing is that sometimes it works.

The NRA is a strong supporter of back grounds checks and gun safety programs………….http://thehill.com/video/policy-areas/277685-nra-chief-generally-supportive-of-tighter-background-checks

Politics aside: this is a very good and technically accurate drawing of a howitzer gun. Kudos!

That’s funny, onguard. Then why the did NRA make it impossible to do background checks by computer, impossible to hire a director of the ATF, make it impossible to investigate fraud in gun applications, make it impossible to investigate criminal sales from gun dealers more than once a year, and make it illegal for government entities to study gun violence? Oh, right. They’re for background checks. Note that Obama has proposed effective background checks. And the NRA has opposed it tooth and nail, like everything else.

Which is why they got their agents in Congress to defund the ATF so that it couldn’t do background checks.

Stewart did an excellent job of how NRA Congressman neutered the ATF ability to control anything, per NRA written amendments.
