I don’t know about un american, sherial law that will be taught in that mosque sure is. But the reason he might “whine” about it is that those slaps across the face by something so disrespectful. Opening it on 9/11 2011 is just salt in a wound. Oh no apologizers will tell us it is a act of peace not of conquest. Really you are that naive Drew?

As usual skipped over a good one, go back and look at it.

We do the terrorist a great favor by referring to them as Muslin extremest, or Muslin fundmentalist, or Muslin anything. The terrorist himself may be a Muslin, or a Christian, or any religion, but what they are trying to do and what motivates their leaders is not religion, but politics – they are a political party and what they are working for is political powers.

Anyone living in Iran can tell you that religion is just a name those in power use to cover their dictatorship, it has nothing to do with religion, only with power.

And who has the power Ken? http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/news.aspx/137890 Do you deny that Radical Islamic Muslims religion is one of the most powerful political around? they do not separate “political” from “reliegion” both are the same and a way of life.

“The terrorist himself may be a Muslin, or a Christian, or any religion, ” Moral equivalence like that will be the down fall of the USA. You really believe that? do me a favor and look up who is fighting who around the world. I would bet you that 90% have the “peace loving religion” on one side or both. Plus it was the Radical Islamic Muslims that were at war with us before 9/11! Not the other way around.

Interesting how Christians believe that they should have the power to flaunt their religion whenever and wherever they please, but the second that law becomes inconvenient to them, then they cry about it.

The Mosque isn’t at Ground Zero, it’s 2 blocks away. If anything NO religious icons should be there, but whatever, that 1st Amendment can be just as much of an inconvenience to those who don’t like certain people.

How interesting that I’m defending the same Constitutional protection that allows people to persecute people like me and deny us our rights, yet the people who advocate that their religion should trump all are now trying to suppress the same amendment that lets them do as they please.

Jade, the radical Islamic Muslim can flaunt their religion all they want. In fact I wish they would. Problem is part of their religion is to lie to non believers. It is perfectly alright to say one thing to the general public, then in their own tongue tell the followers to stab the Jew / Christians or any other non believer in the back at every chance. Oh, and Jade where as a Christan would disapprove, out right tell you that your “life style” is a sin and no sorry you do not get anything new “rights” just because of what you do in your bedroom, the “religion” that will be taught in that Mosque will tell it’s followers that you must under a bed sheet or they will stone you. That is their “life style”

Honestly, I have trouble believing there is such a thing like a “peace-loving religion” because humans are not peace-loving.

I would vote “no” on allowing the Islamics to put their permanent VICTORY monument on the Jihadist’s murder site of 3,000 innocent victims, by building a mosque to display that VICTORY….the name Cordoba reveals their agenda, IMO.

or maybe “yes” after the Islamic governments allow Jews to build a Synagogue and the Christians to build a Church on Muslim sacred sites!

or if the American Muslims (using funds from Muslims worldwide) built a real Monument dedicated to the Judeo-Christian heritage of America.

P.S. Muslims already have and have always had “freedom of religion”….someone ought to COUNT THE MOSQUES… while Americans cannot even carry a Bible into Muslim countries!

    • Sounds like every other large religion, except Catholicism, and look how that’s working out.

“Oh, and Jade where as a Christan would disapprove, out right tell you that your “life style” is a sin and no sorry you do not get anything new “rights” just because of what you do in your bedroom, the “religion” that will be taught in that Mosque will tell it’s followers that you must under a bed sheet or they will stone you. That is their “life style””

    • You mean a Christian would never suggest that people who are different than them deserve to die, would pray for them to die, and instantly blame any disaster on their sin (Pat Robertson, for example); advocate a “Shoot a f** day,” and interrupt the funeral ceremonies of homosexual soldiers (Westboro Baptist Church); or place explosives in Planned Parenthood buildings or walk into a church and shoot and kill an abortion provider? Or maybe … just maybe, starting a small cell of “freedom fighters” who plan on attacking the government?
    • Honestly, you attack a small number of Muslims (there’re over 1.5 billion Muslims in the world), but it’s not like Christianity is any different.
    • P.S. You know what other religious book talks about stoning adulterers? The Bible. Just like it talks about killing disobedient children. One may claim that the New Testament teaches the loving and forgiving side so that this isn’t relevant, but “God hates f**s” + “Sodom & Gomorrah” (a story of pride and gluttony, btw) aren’t New Testament interpretations.

Maybe we should look at “ground zero” as representing the centuries of benefits granted to Native Americans by European invaders?

It’s also evidence of our continuity of purpose, and progress, under the Bush years after the attack.

    Nada.
