    Half the football viewers seem to have thrown something at their tv and broken it. Time for a new bigger screen tv, that might make their team win next time.

    Bowl butt? Get real! He has that “bowl butt” plopped in front of the television for 8 hours a day 7 days a week, football or no football.

    A few years ago i would not have known what the little lever on the side was for. Then I learned about recliners and that the remote-control was invented in the United States. Boy, you people really like your comfort! No wonder you’re busting out of your clothes…

    I’ll never understand the hype for what are, when you get right down to it, a bunch of exhibition games and one “championship” game where the participants were selected by a vote.

    You’re close, it was that way, but for the past few years the participants are decided through a BCS formula which ranks the teams on a weekly basis.

    They do indeed use a formula – the two big polls comprise two-thirds of that formula, and six lesser polls comprise the last third. They’re still voting on who gets to play for the title; they’ve simply dressed it up in a slightly more expensive suit.
