When the bus breaks down, shoot the driver. Always thus in sports.

Question for you junkies out there:
When RG3 takes off running, I wonder if the guy writing the checks panics and hopes he doesn’t get hurt or do they actually want him to run because he gets yards.

The only place I’ve seen doors like that is telephone company central offices (equipment buildings) that don’t have freight elevators. They’re used to bring new equipment in and sometimes obsolete equipment out with a crane.

    Run for yards, then SLIDE!

Jump. You have a golden parachute that is worth millions. Now that is someone I would agree to tax at 90%, all sportspeople. And actors. And liberals. Since they don’t earn it. Now I’m starting to sound like a taxtax! liberal. Oh, well, easy come, easy go. It’s all the government’s money and I’m glad they let me keep what little bit after the oppressive taxation of the feds, state and local governments. My water bill has a ‘green tree’ tax on it, as a tax I can’t dispute or not pay without losing water.

My, what a nasty little troll you are. It’s a sports ‘toon, so why don’t you go soil another strip for awhile, eh?

Meanwhile, Norm is outta there in San Diego after tomorrrow.

I would hope so (and I’m not a Chargers fan). He’s been the most mediocre coach ever, and to be one of the most tenured coaches in the NFL? Especially with one of the most talented (on paper) teams in the league. As much as I love Mike Singletary, he showed exactly what a coaching change can do (going from awful to #1 seed in a year with Harbaugh).
    -
Harbaugh, Marvin Lewis (Bengals from non-entity to perennial contender), and Bill Belichick (Patriots from talented-yet-mediocre to dynasty and consistently playing in conference championships) have the best current franchise turnarounds of the past 15 years

Yeah. Long-suffering Charger fan. Crappy owners caused the best players to flee elsewhere for their SB rings and HoF inductions, and crappy coaching decisions killed too many vital games… being snake-bit doesn’t help, either.

I can’t believe the Bucs won! I didn’t watch a 1 pm game but I did see most of the Packers and Vikings game and the Redskins beat the Cowboys.
