I’ve felt this way since having a powerful, and dedicated teacher, in 7th grade, who taught me the value of education.

Last week’s tragedy says we need more good teachers, and fewer people willing to listen to idiots like the NRA.

Ah, yes; but the minute they unionize, they all become EVIL.

It does seem like the title of hero is put in the wrong place quite a bit.

The idiots are the libs who think a gun ban will fix the deranged people who do this.

^what will? maybe you’re deranged for supporting these on-going mass murders?

And maybe if we had a true public health system, that provided funding more mental health care, we’d do better, right, short round?

A Nut doesn’t need a gun: Knives were used in a recent holdup and a teacher was killed at her home with a flower garden rock!

Yeah, you’re right, capn. A nut can kill with anything. McVeigh managed to kill 19 children with a bomb.

Hey, Lanza got 20. Lanza for the WIN.

Well I admire Litton for doing this panel.
    .
Litton is going against his core constituency to “Un worship” the sports legend.
    .
And in sports there have been several who have used their fame to the betterment of this situation (albeit in tiny ways, but then we’re people and there is only so much that we can do)
    .
    Good on you, Mr. Litton.

Being watered down from what it usually meant, and if one of them had been able to save the kids then yes I would agree. Doesn´t mean ofc. that kids can´t see their teacher as a “hero” / role model to look up to.
