The NHL is cutting their own throat. Unlike American football, there are a lot of hockey leagues available. If the owners and players don’t reach an agreement, the players will continue to go to other leagues. The fans will follow them. No one will pay exorbitant prices to watch the owners.
I don’t really care about it other than the effect it will have on the Southern Professional Hockey League. Attendance is up and so is the level of play. GO ICE BEARS!

Never been to a hockey game and never will. I’m not missing anything.

And just like with the Twinkie union, you don’t care about the facts.

Todd Bertuzzi attacked Steve Moore from behind driving his head and neck into the ice in 2004. Bertuzzi was allowed to return to hockey in 2005, Moore never played hockey again.

I’m half Canadian, so hockey appeals to me. I enjoyed playing. I gave up on it after the 2004 assault by a Vancouver player on a Colorado player.

Apparently, a lot of people care about hockey. There are at least six professional hockey leagues in North America alone, and many more in Europe. Perhaps you and Ima should open your narrow little minds to something new.
