Enough already. I don’t care one way or the other. The bitter old men who take medals away are fat ugly smelly losers.

If everybody doped and Armstrong still won, he’s still a champion

And I still rent cars from Hertz because I admire the way he ran through airports! (Or was that somebody else?)

Doping is wrong, pure and simple. It’s either you have morals and know right from wrong or you tend to ignore the rules and pay the price.

Let ‘em dope. They’re going to do it anyway.

Let thieves steal there going to do it anyway, let murderers kill they are going to do it anyway. Let tyrants rule, they are always going to exist anway.

You are what is wrong with today’s society.

Or as they say on Galaxy Quest “Never give up, Never Surrender!”
    .
Lance is a role model for people looking to recover from Life’s Weaknerers.
    .
He’s a man. He beat the odds!
    .
Magic Johnson is a similar hero! He was the first person who announced he had HIV and didn’t die a few weeks months or years after it!
    .
Buster Douglas was a similar hero, he was the first guy not to be beaten by Mike Tyson.
    .
Sometimes a remarkable person clears the path for the rest of us by showing us that what seemed impossible yesterday seems doable today!
    .
Lance’s greatest victory was getting up off that operating table. All else is postscript!
    ..

    .

    .

    .

    .

    .

And then there was Jesse Owen, and then Bob Beamon and then Mike Powell… but I digress…

Today, Lance Armstrong took the first step in a long long road of seeking redemption…
He stepped down from the Livestrong Foundation, giving that worthy organization a chance to continue helping people in need.
He has a long way to go, but it was a step.
    Respectfully,
    C.

we supported a guy who rode his bike around france 7 times. there are better armstrongs, like neil who walked on the moon. or louis, the best jazz trumpeter ever.

When I under went cancer treatment, Lances organization was there for me! Every one has their own idea of morality, but a man who took his position in life to help me and others without asking for a dime, is still a winner.
