    I guess everyone loves to do that at the snake exibit….I remember some fun loving young man thought he’d scare his girlfriend by touching her leg while lookin at the snakes….You could hear her yell though out the Zoo, I’m guessing…She was not happy, and he was sorry…too little too late…poor guy…

    My husband claimed so a few times as well.

    That “sleeping on the couch” thing again. I’ve never understood that.

    Why does June never take off that apron when she’s going away from the house? And please don’t tell me that’s how Kevin draws her.

    @davanden

    It’s a euphism for “no sex for you tonight”. In other words, a withholding of sex as punishment for some misdeed, imagined or real. Very similar to the idea of the husband being in the “doghouse”.

    But that is the whole thing. It’s how the artist draws her. Maybe to reinforce that no matter where she is, she retains the status of being wife and mother.

    Even better if he brought his own real snake with him to the zoo. I’ve always wanted to try doing something like that. Like the zookeeper would try to stop you walking out with an animal and you’re all “but this is my rhinoceros”, and then you show him the official adoption papers.

    My wife’s and Honey Bunche’s sense of humor are similar. Ralph’s right it’s totally worth it!
