    That’s the second time in as many days that you’ve advocated Ralph shooting everybody. What’s your problem?

    That’s nothing: I have a calendar on my wall from 2001 because I like the picture. But wall calendars are so old-fashioned with everything around us telling us the date, such as cell phones, computers, etc. So are wrist watches. I don’t think either will be around long and soon kids won’t know what they are—like typewriters.

    @Ray Thomas

    The calendar on my wall is 2002 because it is the same layout as 2013. With only 14 calendars possible, I keep re-using old ones as long as I still like the pictures. Haven’t bought a new one in ages.

    I do the same thing. I have a box of old calendars sorted by year and every year I recycle them to use all over the house in every room. I usually try to buy one a year, this year I will be looking for a Grumpy Cat calendar if I can find one.

    We always save and reuse calendars; if the dates match up, why buy a new one, you have forgotten the pictures of 6, 7, or 11 years ago, or else they bring back fond memories.

    I have to put my two cents in here. Free speech is a gift. Some of us get a little nervous when someone talks about shooting others. It happens way too often in the real world. Happy Day all.

    Okay,I can understand that you and @pschearer are pretty “frugal” but didn’t you ever write things in the day blocks,like appts.birthdays,events,etc? They then would be unusable for another year.

    Based on the number of places I see selling calendars, I do not think they are going away any time soon. I buy one or two and get at least a couple of free ones ones every year. They all get used.

    Writing on a calendar? How quaint. That’s what computers are for!
