Silly family antics and goofball humor, the Drabble family tickles readers' funny bones with outrageous antics. Kevin Fagan's lighthearted family strip chronicles the zany mishaps of his offbeat characters, especially goofball college student Norman Drabble and his donut-eating father Ralph. One of the best-loved families in the comics, the Drabble clan also includes smart younger brother Patrick, precocious little sister Penny, and June, the Drabble matriarch best known as "Honeybunch."
From Norm's relentless pursuit of his dream girl to Ralph's hilarious power struggles with Oogie the cat, Drabble is always full of witty, wacky and wonderful humor. The genuine love that keeps the Drabbles from driving each other crazy makes it one of the best family comic strips around, and the loony things they do make it one of the funniest.

Fagan MUST own a dachshund. He has their personality down PERFECT!!!!!!! I love reading the comic all the time, but especially love it when he has Wally in the cartoon. I wish he would publish a book just with the Wally cartoons. I see alot of his Wally cartoons on dachshund sites of facebook. Everyone loves them.
BTW, I have 3 wiener dogs and 2 of the 3 won’t look at the VET and try to bury their heads in my armpit

There’s a doxie in our training class that is the calmest, most easy going doxie I’ve ever seen. He only barks at the other dogs when they bark at him.

He kinda looks like Dr. Passmore, our vet when we lived in Seattle.

Wally and Alice from “Cul de Sac” have the same philosophy, “Other people don’t exist unless you’re looking at them.”

One our Shelties had CRA. The vet said he probably only saw things in when they moved. When he didn’t want to be seen (after sneaking out the door, for example) He would stand very still.. We guess he figured if he couldn’t see us, we couldn’t see him.

I have a bull mastiff that has the same theory. as a puppy he would hide under a chair the vet had. seven years later he still does the same thing, only he’ s 29" at the shoulder & 145 lbs and all he can get under the chair is his head. when I move the chair he looks at me as if to ask, how did find me, I was so well hidden!

Coasternut — just what I’ve been thinking, every point! He’s caught the essence of weiner dog. I’ve been cutting out Wally and Oogie strips, but since I found Go Comics I can stop mutilating the newspaper (and get color too). I’m emailing them to my daughter, whose daschund has been “helping” her through vet school.
Go to Fagan’s website — he said he was planning a Wally book. Nag — I mean encourage — him.

My dog, the dog in my profile pic, shakes like that whenever I take her to the vets. What’s funny is, the vet in this comic looks like my vet if he were a cartoon!

I had a cat who would cover her eyes when I was looking for her to put her outside.
