    No, no, the IMPORTANT thing is to save energy!! Whether you wash any dishes in it or not while saving energy is of no importance at all!!

    No, it uses the same amount of energy regardless of when you run it. But the real reason is too complicated to fit in a strip.

    Due to the possibility of additional generators being turned on to handle peak loads, and that these peak load generators are less efficient than base load generators, the total electric system energy consumption is reduced by running off-peak when it’s practical.
