    Normally, such places maintain canned fruits, canned vegetables, and canned grains / starches.

    Go to any Mormon book store (like Deseret Book – http://deseretbook.com/ ) or places like Emergency Essentials and you’ll see cookbooks talking about what you can do with your food storage.

    As it is, a lot of what you can get from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (that is, us Mormons) is stuff that the average person takes for granted as being able to last, like dried fruit pieces, spaghetti, and beverage powder.
