Silly family antics and goofball humor, the Drabble family tickles readers' funny bones with outrageous antics. Kevin Fagan's lighthearted family strip chronicles the zany mishaps of his offbeat characters, especially goofball college student Norman Drabble and his donut-eating father Ralph. One of the best-loved families in the comics, the Drabble clan also includes smart younger brother Patrick, precocious little sister Penny, and June, the Drabble matriarch best known as "Honeybunch."
From Norm's relentless pursuit of his dream girl to Ralph's hilarious power struggles with Oogie the cat, Drabble is always full of witty, wacky and wonderful humor. The genuine love that keeps the Drabbles from driving each other crazy makes it one of the best family comic strips around, and the loony things they do make it one of the funniest.

Not all cats are afraid, I saw a cat on TV riding one of those stupid robot things that run around the house by it’s self…

Norm is just afraid Ralph will ask him to vacuum.
Darren Blair said, 8 months ago
It’s not that they’re afraid per se.

Cats have incredibly sensitive hearing, and vacuum cleaners are so loud – and at such a high pitch – that it hurts their ears.

Both Ralph & Norm are dumber than that vac.

I’m scared to death of the things – every time my wife sees ours, she insists that I vacuum the house.

No matter how hard I try to hide the beast, either she finds it, or goes out and buys another.

My cat gets both angry and scared. He’ll stalk it, charge in, swipe with his claws, and then run away again.

Our dachshund Angel barks at the vacuum even when it’s standing quietly in the closet.

Natur abhors a vacuum. Cats and dogs, being Nature’s children, have inherited that hatred.

@Jo Clear
Hardly stupid if it runs itself. and they aren’t nearly as loud either.

We went to bed one night and left the vacuum plugged in. My scaredy-cat, who is terrified of the vac, must have decided to face her fears because the vac suddenly started up in the middle of the night. Scared US! She evidently smacked the on/off rocker switch and turned it on.

@shamino
Same with one of mine.

Aw, poor Norm—somebody give him a treat and rub his ears and neck, okay?
