    Shouldn’t have to pretend anything. Drew is a looker and brilliant. Dynamite combination.

    @c.davies

    Jan 28th… Although this isn’t the arc that led to it, let’s hope it starts three weeks of Drew recap that leads us back to her news!

    I’m with you, zibble. I worked as a proofreader years ago. Once you learn to see, you can never unsee.

    Yes. Especially since there’s room for the full word on the second line.

    @Alex Rorke

    Well, either Alex means Drew’s “in DC” shortly or more likely we need to cut Toggle a bit of slack and he means “come in from”. An opportunity to remind (?) readers that she’s not Alex’s roommate at MIT any more (at the time the strip was drawn, 2011).

    That appears to just be for the rerun, when it originally ran May 30 2011 it said 5-30. Of course, those numbers always look weird to me anyway…

    “Once you learn to see, you can never unsee.”
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    How very true — and it’s a curse; every misspelled word, every incomplete sentence, is a stumbling block. I wish I could ‘unsee’ it.
    I was a picky English teacher once. But “ov-erdo” went right past me without notice. Maybe Garry (or someone) lined up the words that way so that the letters would be arranged purty. Never mind the loused-up syllable division. I’m not telling y’all to never mind it. I’m saying that the letterist (?) never-minded it.
    I can’t believe there are still people that don’t know that these are all repeats and have been for months now. Is this your first time reading? If that’s the case, it’s STILL a repeat, you just haven’t seen it yet!
    And it is still enjoyable!
    Isn’t that a zinger to warn someone not to try and keep up in the presence of a brilliant person.
