To a dictator – “the people have spoken” does not compute

Americans HAVE spoken…. it’s called elections. Obama has shown he cares a whole lot more than the GOP has been showing!

That’s right, every country should have the right to the dictator of their choice…until we decide they want another.

“Too cowardice”? Did you fail to read your comment before posting or are you just not well versed in proper English? I believe you wanted to use an adjective in this sentence as opposed to a noun.

Yes we get to speak after the selections have been made for us by the Plutocrats. You don’t think they would let us pick someone not on their side do you?

And I suppose what the Koch brothers, et. al., are doing is just for show?

Perhaps that new dictator is from the same ethnic group as the people, so that’s why he get’s a free pass.

Dude, 4 grammar mistake in a post 28 words long? If English really is your first language, and if you REALLY are an American, where did you go to school? The President, phony or not, is way better educated than you are.

    Try “4 grammar mistakes.”

I spot only two actual mistakes in that post, and yet the writer is getting a lot of flak. As a long-time editor and proofer, I’d say two is not too bad. It’s devilishly difficult for even those of us who love grammar, spelling, and punctuation to get everything exactly right, especially on Web sites (yes, “Web sites” is correct!) that seem designed to make mistakes for you.

Just realized I wrote “long-time” instead of “longtime.” Now THAT’s a furreal mistake!
