    I’ll call my wife, who is on the road, and tell her to avoid any route from Zanesville, OH to Walden. I would like for her to come home.

    I hear that Ohio is not the place to speed. I’ve gone 100mph (161km/hr) in Ohio, on Amtrak. I never drove there.

    @Clark Kent

    It really is a bad place to speed if you are in a commercial truck. And, no I am not advocating for trucks to speed. Merely an observation.

    Just that the cops will notice and write him a very large ticket. If he isn’t arrested first.

    At least they got rid of that damn 55 limit for trucks, when cars were going 65…stupid idea in the first place, only there to raise revenue, NOT for safety!

    It’s also a bad place to speed if you have Michigan plates. Especially the closer you get to Columbus.

    Zonker seems prone to driving in the wrong direction, my guess is he’ll be arriving here in CO any time now

    The Ohio State Patrol’s drug arrests have made big jumps from past years. You don’t get away from their four foooted troopers.
    A Sheriff who stopped a friend of mine said, “There are two places you don’t speed. That is Valdosta County Georgia and the whole damn state of Ohio!”

    My sister in law quit visiting us in Cincinnati about forty years ago. I think there’s still a warrant for her arrest for speeding in Ohio…or at least she thinks so….or says she thinks so….
